The Nigerian Association of Church History and Missiological Studies (NACHAMS) respects your privacy. Who we are
NACHAMS is a voluntary, non-profit association of scholars of Church History and Missiology. Our National Secretariat is in the Department of Religious Studies, Faculty of Arts, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
Information we collect
We collect only the information you choose to give us, for example when you:
- send us a message through the contact form or by email;
- apply for membership of the Association;
- submit a paper to the Nigerian Journal of Church History and Missiological Studies (NJOCHAMS).
This may include your name, title, institution, position, email address, telephone number, area of interest and the content of your message or application.
How we use your information
- to respond to your enquiries;
- to process membership applications and keep a register of members;
- to manage journal submissions and correspond with authors;
- to send members notices of meetings, conferences and other activities of the Association.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for any purpose unrelated to the work of the Association.
Sharing your information
Your information is available only to the officers of the Association who need it to carry out their duties. We may share information where the law requires us to do so.
How long we keep your information
We keep membership records for as long as you remain a member and for a reasonable period afterwards. Enquiries and correspondence are kept only for as long as they are needed.
