About the members of the Executive Council
President
Prof. Samson Adetunji Fatokun
Professor Samson Adetunji Fatokun is Professor of Church History, African Christianity, Doctrinal Theology and Pentecostal Studies, and Immediate Past Head of the Department of Religious Studies, University of Ibadan. He graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, in 1994 with a First Class Honours degree in Religious Studies, obtained his M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Ibadan, and became a full Professor on 1 October 2011.
He is the Pioneer National President of NACHAMS, Executive National President of the Nigerian Academy of Church History and Missiology, and Editor-in-Chief of NJOCHAMS. His international engagements include fellowships and visiting scholarships at the University of Edinburgh, the University of Glasgow, Liverpool Hope University and the University of Florida. He has supervised 24 master’s dissertations and 17 Ph.D. theses, and has 239 publications, including 17 books and 12 edited books. An ordained Apostle in The Apostolic Church Nigeria, he serves as National General Secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

Prof. Babatunde Adedibu
Prof. Babatunde Adedibu is Professor of Church History and Mission Studies at Redeemer’s University, Ede, Osun State. He serves as Vice President of NACHAMS and as Editor of the Nigerian Journal of Church History and Missiological Studies (NJOCHAMS), and he is Executive Vice-President of the Nigerian Academy of Church History and Missiology.
Secretary-General
Prof. Felix Ehimare Enegho
Prof. Felix Ehimare Enegho is Professor of Church History and Missiology at Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, Kogi State. He holds B.A. and M.A. degrees in Religious Studies from Bendel State University (now Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma) and a Ph.D. from Lagos State University, Ojo. He became Professor of Church History in 2016 and has served as Head of Department and as Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
He has authored and edited six books and presented papers in Africa, Europe, North America and Asia. He has collaborated in research with the Institute of Missiology Missio, Aachen, Germany, since 2011, and is a Research Fellow of the Department of Christian Spirituality, Church History and Missiology, University of South Africa. He is a member of the International Association for Mission Studies and the Historical Society of Nigeria, and Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Academy of Church History and Missiology.
Assistant Secretary-General
Prof. Solomon Makanjuola Mepaiyeda
Prof. Solomon Makanjuola Mepaiyeda is Professor of Church History and Ecumenical Studies at the University of Ibadan. He serves as Assistant Secretary-General of NACHAMS, supporting the work of the National Secretariat, and as Deputy Editor of NJOCHAMS.

Ven. (Dr.) Olaitan Oyedele Olaoba
Ven. (Dr.) Olaitan Oyedele Olaoba is a Senior Lecturer and scholar of Religious Studies at Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, with expertise in Church History, Missiology and African Christianity. He is an academic, administrator and mentor committed to advancing scholarship, leadership and the development of students and the wider society. He also serves as Business Manager of the Editorial Board of NJOCHAMS.
Financial Secretary
Prof. Francis Omoyele Falako
Prof. Francis Omoyele Falako is Professor of Church History and African Christianity at the University of Lagos. As Financial Secretary of NACHAMS, he supports the management of the Association’s finances and the record of members’ dues.
Public Relations Officer, South-South and South-East
Prof. Don O. Akhilomen
Prof. Don Omofuma Akhilomen is Professor of Church History at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State. He serves as Public Relations Officer of NACHAMS for the South-South and South-East, is a member of the Editorial Board of NJOCHAMS, and is a Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Church History and Missiology.
Public Relations Officer, North
Dr. John Atuluku
Dr. John Atuluku lectures in the Department of Christian Religious Studies, FCT College of Education, Zuba, Abuja, an institution affiliated with Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He serves as Public Relations Officer of NACHAMS for the North, linking the Association with members and institutions in the region.
Public Relations Officer 1, South West
Dr. Moses Adetunmbi
Dr. Moses Adetunmbi serves as Public Relations Officer 1 of NACHAMS for the South West. He is also Secretary of the Editorial Board of NJOCHAMS, where he supports the coordination of the Journal’s editorial work.
Public Relations Officer 2, South West
Dr. Samuel Kehinde Fabunmi
Dr. Samuel Kehinde Fabunmi lectures in the Department of Christian Religious Studies, Federal College of Education, Abeokuta, where he is currently Head of Department. He is Secretary of the National Association for Christian Studies, a member of the African Association for the Study of Religions, and Pioneer Editor of the Journal of Religious Education and Humanities.
Public Relations Officer 3, South West
Dr. Samuel Seyi Afolabi
Dr. Samuel Seyi Afolabi serves as Public Relations Officer 3 of NACHAMS for the South West. He is a member of the Editorial Board of NJOCHAMS, contributing to the Association’s publications and its outreach to members in the region.
